Introducing Garuda's newest General Partner
James and I are thrilled to welcome our friend Arpan Punyani to Garuda as a Co-founder and General Partner. Arpan joins us after an incredible eight year run at Okta where he was a founding member of all of Okta’s inorganic growth teams – M&A, Ventures, and Strategic Partnerships. He saw the company grow from its early days through IPO and beyond, working closely with Okta’s leadership team, as well as their GTM, product, and engineering orgs. Arpan’s also been involved with the broader startup ecosystem for over a decade as both an active personal investor and startup advisor.
We’ve known Arpan for almost ten years, and our paths have been intertwined ever since. We couldn’t be more excited to bring on a partner with his level of experience, expertise, and empathy as Garuda transitions to a full-time firm, and we deepen our commitment to supporting founders as they get started.
