Welcome to our August newsletter, where we share the latest from us, news from our portfolio, new investments, and a few tidbits.
New Investments: We partnered with three founding teams in Q2, taking the total number of companies we have partnered with to 39. ConductorOne, the modern identity access governance platform founded by Arpan’s former Okta colleagues Alex Bovee and Paul Querna, announced their Series A led. You can read more about that investment here. The other two teams are still in stealth mode, so you’ll just have to wait and see!
Tech M&A Webinar: In June we hosted a webinar titled Tech M&A in 2022: What Founders Need To Know. We invited the community to join Arpan in conversation with four top M&A dealmakers from enterprise software leaders such as Databricks, Intuit, Okta, and Datadog, discussing the new M&A landscape, what's changed over the last few months, and how founders should engage with potential acquirers. Finally Back In Person: As the world began to properly re-open in Q2, we were glad to meet so many members of our Garuda community face to face. We spent time in Seattle, Las Vegas, New York, and London to meet with portfolio companies, co-investors, operators, and LPs. It was also great to see events come back, including the annual RSA Conference — the premier annual cybersecurity event — which was back in-person for the first time since 2020. We look forward to a lot more through the rest of the year!
